I bought these clips specifically to replace the missing ones from the plastic splash guards under the engine compartment. They appear very similar to the OEM parts and function the same way, albeit with marginally looser tolerances. As a result, they do not shore up the panels quite as tightly as the OEM clips, but they do a passable job holding things together. They haven't yet shaken loose over the several days since they've been installed, as some brands I've tried in the past have.For this particular application, I'm very happy with the way they've performed. And at $5.99 for 40 clips, they were a pretty amazing value (compared to $3.00 for the OEM equivalent).
