Not even close to what is advertised. The photos show a green car with a camera installed in the center of the rear bumper. The car-shaped red car on the right is the same red car barely visible in the camera's field of view. To calculate the field of view, this is 20 feet in a straight line and about 50 feet to the red car. As a result, the viewing angle is approximately 140 degrees maximum viewing angle and 135 degrees practical viewing angle. To be 170 degrees as advertised, the distance from the edge of the camera's field of view would need to be extended an additional 50 feet (each side). The horizontal photos are taken with the same camera and shifted using the spacers provided by the manufacturer to bring the view as close as possible to the rear bumper colliding with the obstacle. The tool box is still about 9 inches from the bumper. The element in the background of the bumper and mural is at the same camera height, making the horizontal view less than 90 degrees for a straight rear view. Moving further and towards the edges of the monitor, it's just under 120 degrees at best.
