I mainly wore them for snowshoeing this winter. It gets pretty cold here so most days when I wasn't moving it wasn't warm enough. But they were perfect for snowshoeing. 4 stars instead of 5 because the scarf was too big and didn't stay with me. I'm a size 12 so I usually don't have a problem with things being too big. Gloves are great when you need to use your phone and it's cold outside. I wore them for snowshoeing from 20 degrees. I would like at least 35 degrees for just standing around, otherwise I would need thicker gloves.
