I bought these on a whim to use for something the manufacturer doesn't claim they can do - car dent repair. The suction cups worked great to get the big dent I had on the side of my CRv out, but it wouldn't pop out, smaller and more difficult. That being said, I have to admit that these little things made a bigger difference. than i expected. While popping a dent isn't the same as lifting a tablet's screen, I see no reason for the latter based on its performance in the former. These little things stuck to the sheet metal with ease and broke off with only 26 pounds of force. I have no problem recommending this to other hobbyists, although I would probably caution them to look elsewhere for more specific automotive requirements.
