I have bought this type of pillow before and they have never been as comfortable as a soft pillow. I use it in my bed when I read, fold my clothes or just chill with my daughter. The included round pillow is perfect for my lower back. It has an elastic band to attach it to the top of the back of the pillow, but I've found it more comfortable to just lie on the bed in front of the pillow, so when I recline it's an extra support for my lower back. The pillow is firm which I really like and although I haven't had to wash it yet I love the idea of taking the cover off and washing it. The material is very soft and I've actually found that my cats' fur doesn't stick to it either, if it does then it's imperceptible. Did I mention pockets? There is a small pocket on each arm and a large pocket on the back. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend, especially someone who needs extra back support.
