At 58 I still see myself as a novice at professional riding. So I buy these TriSeven shoes and Shimano SPD pedals and I think it's me, yes. Awakening! I put on my shoes, my fancy pedals click into place and "BAM" falls and smashes my ass. Thank God I live in a village and nobody saw me. After that I raised my pride and laughed very hard at my "professional self". I'm telling this story because I encourage you all to have an observer or helper when you first try to tie your shoes. I have mastered these new products and highly recommend them. The Triseven came with black cleats, which I found only "unscrew” in one direction, so get silver or blue cleats that twist in multiple directions, and that's important. OK, I hope you're all done laughing at me. The Trisevens are very comfortable and breathable and the Shimano SPD pedals are amazing, very smooth. I would buy these products anytime, anytime.
