This resulted in a leak free result when installing a water pump that gave me a nervous breakdown. I installed a pump on a Ford 5.0, there was a gasket, then a piece of sheet metal, then another gasket, then a timing case cover. Multiple layers, multiple flow options. I tried NAPA 80062 High Tack because that's what my dad used to make. Less than acceptable results. Then I tried Permatex 22071. Less acceptable results. I then tried this product with Klean 'N Prime. I followed the instructions exactly and NO LEAK! What a relief. Another nice feature of this product is that overuse or contamination does not harden and can even be removed the next day. Tip: Wait 24 hours for it to fully cure. Use Klean 'N Prime, especially on some aluminum surfaces.
