I was going to give the VX2025WM a full five stars, but there are a few things serious enough to deduct that last star - at least in my personal opinion. You've probably already read most of the reviews here along with all the specs for the 2025, but for now there are still a few glaring omissions in both. First, I can't find a dot spacing specification anywhere in the specs - not even on Viewsonic's own website. A few reviews mention the very slight (and typical) "graininess" of LCDs. Expanding 1680 x 1050 to 20 inches will of course have this effect, but the "bolder" dot spacing will accentuate it even more. I think 2025 has above average progression which is why Viewsonic doesn't mention it anywhere. I don't think this is an accidental omission. [VERIFICATION: I've since learned that the 2025 uses the same/similar panel (possibly manufacturing variances) as Dxll's new 2007FPW, which means a DP of 0.258, which is pretty decent.] However, that "graininess" isn't attributed to no means intrusive or even conspicuous if you don't have 20/2 vision or are glued to the screen with your face. The second problem is the lighting. I have two 2025s in a dual display configuration from a Quadro FX 1300 Dual DVI Adapter (PC). When setting up displays, given the same settings (contrast, brightness, etc.), one is definitely brighter (hotter) than the other and suffers more from backlight blurring, although this is only on a dark/black background, e.g. B. at boot, notices up or down. This means that there can be noticeable (but acceptable) differences between units of measurement. I bought both of mine at the same time from the same seller and they both have similar serial numbers. It doesn't matter if you're using displays on Windows. The colors are bright and uniform. I don't play games and I have a big TV to watch movies, so I don't do that on my computer either. My computer is set up for work and online gaming at 1am when I'm reviewing Revain (chuckles) - which the VX2025WM is exceptionally good at. Text and graphics are displayed with exceptional clarity and legibility. Colors are vibrant, editing in Photoshop is a dream, Word, Excel and other Office apps find enough space to open all of your menus along with your documents, and having two displays allows me to edit in Photoshop and Dreamweaver at the same time in the remaining space . . It was a choice of a 24-inch 1920 x 1200 LCD or two. If you count, the choice was easy. The Dual 2025 offers clear performance advantages that a single 24-inch display simply cannot match. Other disadvantages have already been mentioned by others. : No height or swivel adjustment (a Viewsonic trademark), the speakers are for "business audio" purposes only (what did you expect? I never intended to use them myself), in a dual configuration, those mean A distance of over two inches between them blinds the displays. . Relatively minor issues, but taken together they give enough reason not to give the last star. But when it comes to money, there's just nothing that can compare - period.
