Review on MAXXIS Bravo AT-771 225/65 R17 102T summer by Wiktor Lipski ᠌

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

Bought for the Duster in the size of 225/60R17. The hum of the tires immediately penetrated the cabin, and the degree to which this occurred was highly dependent on the condition of the asphalt. It was necessary for me to construct a full soundproofing, yet this did not have a significant impact on the rumble itself. It digs really well, and you don't even need more of it; there was MT rubber in the past, and when compared to that, it doesn't lose much in everyday off-road use, particularly if you bleed up to 1 atmosphere. Of course, it cannot travel off the beaten path, but it is suitable for everyday use. It performs well in urban areas, on highways, on country roads, and on terrain with just light off-roading, among other terrain types. On the other hand, it is obvious that asphalt rubber on the road is superior. I wouldn't recommend using it during the winter since at a temperature of 6 degrees Fahrenheit in damp weather, it can easily break into axle boxes on the first front-wheel drive vehicle.

Pros
  • It rows wonderfully, and given the conditions I use it in (gravel and sand), you just cannot imagine anything better. It has an aggressive appearance, which appeals to me, but it is kind in tone. Very clearly engraved.
Cons
  • When the temperature is below 12 degrees, it does not provide very excellent braking performance on wet pavement, and it also readily breaks into a slip when turning. Noisy. Doesn't like ruts my size, especially when going full power and trying to pass another vehicle.
