Review on Rhode Island Novelty Rainbow Spring by Paul Andrews

I bought this for my niece on a whim after seeing a friend's son enjoying his own rainbow bodycon dress so much. So I first noticed that all the coils were glued together and decided to carefully separate them before letting my niece play. But when I unplugged the spools, I noticed a few cracks and missing parts in the plastic spools that I haven't gotten to yet. When I got to them, everything fell apart. The return policy looks ok - I just have to return it to get a replacement and as I only received it yesterday I still have the box. But if it was a gift that needed to be given for a special occasion, I'd be upset that it wasn't ready in time.
