Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am very happy with it and very happy that I have been dragging this purchase for many years!

Although I only installed this system a week ago I give it 5 stars in advance. Based purely on other reviews I have some concerns about the future but for now everything seems very, very good. Based on the questions people have asked and some other feedback, let me tell you something: the 3/4 inch pipe is a bit bulky to uncoil. You can have the machine completed on the Rapidair website or similar, but I had no problem getting the pipe damn straight. My setup consisted of several 15-foot passes, the longest being 25 feet. I had an assistant hold one end of the spool and then pull it out while I held it with my feet while walking in some really comfortable flip flops. The end result was a *really* wide arch that was easy to straighten by hand. It wasn't a big deal. I planned for each segment to have only one corner to avoid disappointment. Starting with the longest straight line, I connected the pipe to any fitting (sometimes a tee, sometimes an outlet) and then fed the pipe into the corner, shaping it by hand as I went. So I installed one of the pipe clamps to hold it in place and then laid out the other part of the route. In addition to judging, I did 90 feet myself without assistance. That's not difficult. Pro tip: read the instructions. They are clear and to the point. All NPT fittings must be wrapped with two wraps of Teflon tape. All NPT fittings should be alloy (although I prefer Permatex heavy-duty thread sealant). Assemble the outlets in advance (male, M8005 fitting, 50120 drain and air fitting of your choice). Install outlets EARLY. Maxline fittings require no treatment (tape or grease) - O-rings seal them, not the threads. So when you cut pipe it MUST BE STRAIGHT, ideally at a 90 degree angle, and you must use a reamer to ensure the pipe is round (not oval) and properly beveled. Otherwise it may not fit the fittings exactly. When measuring the pipe, leave some in case you need to cut it again! If I have any complaints, it's that the cutter they supply is difficult to use - the "mouth" needs to be 2-3 inches wide to give a good straight cut. first the pipe. These are not swivel fittings. The NPT side of the fitting must be installed first, then install the pipe on top. When you finally mount the pipe on the M8005 (last step!), make sure to tighten the clamp at least 3/4 turn. There seems to be some confusion about the three #M81010 output blocks that come with this kit. Each outlet has three connections - top, back and front are 1/2" NPT threads. The idea is to connect a pipe to the TOP or REAR outlet (e.g. through a wall) and then an NPT male to it use to mute the one We didn't use three jacks = three plugs, you can use the other port to connect a row to another jack, but it will be inconvenient, the front port is for your tool or quick connector, but you can also use it for the serial connection I used Dixon Valve DC2504 (from Revain) as they have a 1/2" NPT -> 3/8" quick connector (industrial style, there is an automotive style equivalent) , so no adapters are needed. You can use the Dixon valve DCP2103 on your tool, it's a 3/8" quick connect with 1/4" NPT threads. Lightweight! The bottom port has a 3/8 -inch NPT thread and is designed for drain valve. This ma It's easy to depressurize the plumbing and drain any water that *collects* at the outlet. You *can* use this connector for chain or linkage tools, but it *must* be a water drain. Three #50120 are included in this kit for this purpose! I have an extra tee (#M8011) with this kit for two Ordered Purposes : It was very long (40 feet), very bulky hose *and *accommodates a hose reel to be fitted. Connecting and storing the hose would be a hassle, so I just mounted the reel to the ceiling for good. # M8005 goes straight from 3/4" pipe to 1/2" NPT thread. I did carry a 1/2" NPT check valve (just in case I need to remove the hose for some reason so I don't have to hold the hose at 90psi all the time), but there's no quick disconnect for removing the hose is connected directly to the non-return valve. Easy! (Remember to assemble in reverse order - reel to check valve, check valve to M8005 fitting, *then* M8005 to pipe!) My final setup looks like this: Big old 80 gallon compressor -> check valve -> flexible band ( ALWAYS IMPORTANT) -> PneumaticPlus SAU4020M-N06BG (Filter/Regulator) @ 100psi -> Piping System The piping system has four main branches: one goes from the garage to the store (through the wall), one goes to two exits on opposite sides of the Garage, one goes to the second check valve and upper drum, and the third goes to the back panel outlet which contains a SECOND color regulator/filter. I am very happy with them and I am very happy that I have been dragging this purchase for many years. Here Rapidair offers full customization with all the details you need to fully customize your solution. Six days later I haven't seen any leaks anywhere and I can't wait to start using my big air tools! :) I have yet to see if the pipe will withstand the impact (it's in the walls and rafters so hopefully not!) and what will happen over time. Until then 5 stars!
