I'm used to wearing heavy, clunky motorcycle boots. I thought these might add a bit of comfort and casual fashion to enjoy while off the bike at stops and destinations. It actually worked out. My 1st wearing, I rode to an entertaining establishment about 65 miles away. hung out for an hour and rode on. Then I rode for another 100 miles and did the same thing. I like the cushion and grip of the soles! They're pretty good!The stitching and construction appears very good on these.time will tell. The weight is fine and break in won't be an issue. The sole seems solidly attached and the color is true to the picture on Walmart. After that I rode home. During the ride the only thing I noticed about the shoes was that I wanted a bit more "cooling", or venting, or something. My usual riding boots are great for ventilation though, so it might not be a fair comparison. The sizing on these runs slightly small, so if in doubt, one may want to go up a size.
