Review on Pioneer Car SPH-10BT by Danish Danish ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The worst product for your money, I do not recommend it to anyone.

Having suffered for several months with this misunderstanding, having sold and crossed himself, I took out my old Pioneer DEH-4400 from the mezzanine, which has the same functionality, but with a normal volume “twist”, and without unnecessary whistles / fakes.

Pros
  • Hardly ever. It seems that positive reviews here are written either by Pioneer employees, or by users who have never tasted anything sweeter than radish. Well, if you think very carefully, then a fairly reliable bluetooth connection with the phone, a good mount for the phone, but there is a nuance (more on that below).
Cons
  • This GU (receiver) is one big flaw, let's start: 1. Volume buttons. I hope there will be a special place in hell for the engineers who came up with this. These buttons cannot instantly change the volume level, the ATT / Mute mode (emergency volume reduction) turns on only after 5 (!) seconds after pressing and holding the volume down button. You won’t be able to quickly turn up the volume either: the button does not understand a long press, and you have to poke it 15-20 times in a row, like a fool. Cherry on the cake - when adjusting the volume, it is not easy to miss the signal source select button, but very easy, about 1 time out of 10! 2. There are no "iron" buttons for saving and selecting radio stations, you have to search for a station by frequency each time. 3. The official application is a complete failure: crooked, buggy, with a clumsy interface, not very functional, wildly annoying with its launch every time the receiver connects to the phone, and also an unswitchable message that (every time the application is launched, yes) to not be distracted while driving, but most importantly - regularly resetting the speaker settings for unknown reasons. Moreover, if you demolish this under-application, then IOS will still carefully suggest installing it with each connection. In short, quiet horror, application developers - in the same boiler with engineers) 4. Phone holder - seems to be reliable, changes the position of the phone from portrait to landscape, BUT on my car it blocks the emergency button and interior heating deflectors, which causes the phone to heat up and turn off. And yes, they could build wireless charging there to get rid of the wires.

Has pros: Modern. The first thought of connecting a smartphone with a radio tape recorder, so as not to lie idle. Has cons: There would be more channels.
