Review on Ultimate Arthritis Microwavable Handbook: Your Universal Guide by Melvin Man

The first night I used them I thought they were the best. I am an artist with severe hand arthritis. After a few hours of painting I have to use a heating pad to relieve the pain or avoid medication. The 2nd night they didn't get as warm as the 1st night and heated up in the mic for 1 1/2 minutes. I reread the directions that 1-2 minutes in the microwave is recommended. Since my little microwave is 9 years old I figured a 2 minute setup would be fine. NOT CORRECT! One of the 4 inserts burned out and the house stank of smoke for 2 days! Now I'm afraid to use the leftover glove. No, I did NOT heat the inserts in the gloves; I followed the directions. Turns out the stakes are just flax seeds soaked in lavender oil! Not worth $25 and risk of fire!
