I called the company and gave them the exact size of the negatives I have from the 1950's and 1960's. They said I need this product and ordered it. However, the included negative and slide holders didn't hold the slides I had on all four sides. So I had to find cardstock paper and cut my own holder. After a few tries it worked well enough to securely hold rolled negatives in a horizontal position. In a few weeks I scanned more than 1000 photos from negatives. Overall the device works great once you figure out the basic buttons to navigate the screen. I'm not sure if it was worth the price, but with the limited scope to implement the project I had, it worked.
