Now turning the water on and off is so easy I never realized how much water I wasted. The pull works beautifully and the water shuts off automatically when you return it to its original position. The sensor works great. You just have to get in the habit of avoiding that particular area unless you want to turn the water on or off. For example, if I wash a large pot and then accidentally put my hand in front of the sensor, the water is suddenly turned off. Then I usually remind myself that it's easier to wash it off by pulling down, and that's what I keep doing. I can't imagine going back to a standard faucet again.
