I bought this to help me put together a set of monitors for my home lab. Having 4 1/2 monitors (27", 24", 19", 17", and 6.5") with inputs ranging from HDMI to VGA, I've tried to get everything to work on the devices I have mainly for 27" use. like the main train station. I protested the prices of many devices but finally settled on this device as it fell within my comfort zone and gave me the features I really need: 1. Separate physical buttons for each input, 2. Standard cable types and 3. External power supply deliver. to avoid turning off when stations are off or sleeping. Most of the time that's good. I've only had a time or two in daily use where I believe I traced the problem back to the device and not the PC going to sleep and not accepting new input or anything, but it all got sorted out quickly by one Fixed fast restart of power supply. All in all, for a sub-$100 4-port HDMI KVM, I'm quite satisfied. Even the little remote box is a nice bonus that I wasn't expecting, but it turned out to be a little more accessible than the buttons on the box itself. A solid win here and I'll buy again when I get mine Travel still need one.
