When the builder installed our sliding door, he forgot to install the rails, so the door hit the opening when opening or closing. I installed these instructions on the skin afterwards. Not perfect, but they're not very visible at the bottom of the door, even when surface mounted. They are easy to adjust and nice large nylon rails ensure smooth opening and closing. The installation only took a few minutes. Cool, inexpensive solution. Btw I ordered both these Prime Line rails and the identical looking Slide-Co rails as they were cheap (a few bucks) and I thought I might break one of them during installation. Prime-Line and Slide-Co guides are indistinguishable from each other, but Slide-Co guides come with four mismatched screws and the instructions on the box are for a different product, so I would personally recommend Prime-Line- Recommend guided tours over slide-co-guided tours.
