The company provided excellent support and assistance

Review of Dual M.2 PCIE to SATA or PCIE NVMe SSD Adapter sold by Yateng and currently at https://smile .amazon.com/dp/B07JKH5VTL can be found. I had to contact Yateng and given the time zone difference and international date line, they were extremely responsive and helpful. I had to use an adapter to allow NVMe 2242 SSD as my motherboard was designed exclusively for 2280th SSD (larger length). I based my decision on this drive because the SSD was M+B keyed and it can be difficult to find adapters that accept B or M+B keyed drives. Most adapters only seem to be M- to be key. Also thought I might have a cooling option just in case. I had to contact the manufacturer of the SSD who said to use the bottom slot (so labeled M.2 M Key) without using a SATA cable. The product description states that the B-Key and M+B-Key SSDs require the use of a SATA connection for data transfer, but the SSD manufacturer stated otherwise and was absolutely right. In addition to the parts listed in the product description, this adapter also includes the rubber bands needed to attach the heatsink. They were also kind enough to include extra screws, which is great as screws used to attach NVMe drives are often missing from the motherboard, although the nut is permanently secured to aid in M.2 installation, leaving difficulties for the new buyer has to find the right screw . While multiple SSD lengths can be used with this adapter, the actual heatsink size is 2280. If you use a shorter SSD, the silica gel heatsink and backing will simply last longer, which is not an issue. For an SSD, the first two digits indicate the width of the SSD and the last two digits indicate the length. This 2280 SSD is 22mm wide and 80mm long, while the 2242 SSD is 22mm wide and 42mm long. One tip is to try to attach the SSD to the adapter with a magnetic screwdriver. The screws used for the SSD are quite small and therefore a bit more difficult to get going by hand. I am considering installing a radiator. The SSD manufacturer has stated that a heatsink is not required, and after installation, the SSD temperature displayed by CrystalMark is in the yellow area of 53Β°C.
