This was a replacement toilet for a 1987 Thetford Aqua Magic because we didn't want to take it apart to replace leaking gaskets. Don't expect the device to be plug-and-play, but customer service advisor Thetford called this model a replacement. Installation required additional hoses and fittings. On the plus side, the new toilet is slightly wider and taller, making it easier for taller friends to use, and the bowl feels deeper. Of the minuses, the device seems cheap, and the quality of the plastic is not scratch-resistant, but the worst thing is household detergents. After a spray of Windex and using a soft cloth on the toilet lid, the finca faded! I couldn't believe it! I then tried restoring it with some McGuire plastic polish but that didn't work, it stayed chalky. A bit disappointing for a brand new product. Can I therefore not give three stars overall?
