Tried to storm the beaches of Normandy in these. The rest of the airborne fellas made fun of the zippers. And my rented uniform, but mostly my combat fashion jump boots. So then I wore them to my local VFW and told a bunch of my fellow vets that I was going to join the army, but I just don’t like taking orders from people. I’d probably have punched the drill sergeant right in the face. Since I meant to join though, that’s practically like being a vet. I thought they’d appreciate my snazzy new boots. Those jerks laughed and threw their beer at me and then I slipped in a puddle and fell when I was running away. These do NOT have good traction! I’m going to return them and try my luck with the desert boots.
