With a sensitivity adjustment knob, I can have peace of mind when using this CB viewfinder. I was able to map my whole house which sockets are on which CB. It's all about technology here. I plug the transmitter into an outlet, lower my head to my panel, then touch the switches at maximum sensitivity and move the receiver up and down the switches (as instructed). It usually starts beeping as soon as I put it on the panel. So I decrease it with a touch and then keep dialing it until only the strongest signals are picked up. usually 2 or 3 breakers. Then I just dial it in a bit more until maybe just 2 beeps then 1st and boom I found it. If you want to be 100% sure you've found the right breaker, simply turn that breaker off and the signal from the transmitter should be completely cut off, even if you've adjusted the sensitivity all the way. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be labeling a fuse box in no time! I highly recommend this device over the autogain device as it puts you in control and therefore reassured that the readings are accurate. You can also use it for lighting sockets or exposed wires with alligator clips etc.
