I recently upgraded my 10 year old flat screen and changed it to 2x. I'm not sure if it's related to the blue light filter, better refresh rate, adaptive sync, or just a bigger screen, but I don't know. I no longer have headaches after work. In fact, I can easily continue working on other projects at night. I love these monitors! I really wanted 4k, but to get eye care and a 75Hz refresh rate, I'd spend over $600 on a monitor if I went for 4k. It's damn profitable. I will upgrade again in 5 years when 4k is really reasonable.
