I bought this unit after my regular water heater started leaking in December. The device was installed and has been working for about 2 months. I live in Miami where this unit (ECO 11) should be more than capable of running a shower and hot water faucet at the same time - THE UNIT CANNOT SUPPORT MORE THAN ONE WATER OUTLET AT A TIME - and I assume it has since in installed in a warm climate Miami, it can even provide hot water for the shower while working on its own. Otherwise it would have overwhelmed even 1 shower in a cold climate as far as I can tell. Here in Miami, when I turn on both the shower and the faucet, I get ONLY WARM water from, say, the kitchen faucet (closest to the unit) and some warm (well, almost cold) water in the shower. Keep in mind that my house is only 3/2 of only 1600 sq ft. Feet, and here in Miami, 85 degrees Fahrenheit as I test and write this review. This is also because the unit heats the water to 135 degrees Fahrenheit, which seems to HAVE NO ABSOLUTE EFFECT ON HOW THE HOT WATER COMES OUT OF THE SHOWER/WATER. Consequently, I mostly use the device at 120 degrees, as I think there is no point in using more energy if I can't get hotter water. THE ABOVE PROBLEM IS NOT EVEN MY MAIN PROBLEM/BEEF WITH ECO11. I have only been able to work with 1 running unit now that the unit is installed (obviously if I had known this beforehand I would have bought something else as this is a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE). WASHING MACHINE OUTLET/TAP which is literally 2 feet away (6 feet from actual pipes considering they twist and turn naturally). However, the shower, which is physically 50 feet away, gets really hot water (so far, it's the only faucet that's open). TO MAKE IT WORSE, if I open the valve/faucet of the washing machine (i.e. leave the washing machine running), which in turn is next to the water heater, THEN NONE OF THE OTHER FAUCETS/EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING THE KITCHEN, WILL HAVE ITS HOT WATER SO NOTHING hot water - God forbid I forget to turn on the washing machine while someone is in the shower. Fix this issue, I rescheduled it today and asked for a day off (this company only offers MF support until 5pm because that's what we all have to do, release work to accommodate their hours) and IDIOT (yes, he was an idiot) who answered the call (after waiting ages for someone to answer my call), he didn't care what I said - he didn't even try to understand the problem - he just said it wasn't them Fault of the device, the device worked as intended. He then went on to say that the problem was that TOO HIGH FLOW was coming out of that faucet. and so the device couldn't handle it - I explained sir I'm not just an engineer and I understand what too much flow is, it's a friggin' faucet/valve - YOU understand valves by default measure the flow/volume of Water can control design (that's what they do, right)? I further explained that EVEN when the FLOW is LOW the water still doesn't come out hot, but 50 feet away the shower is hot as long as it's the only thing open. Anything he (and that was US support, not foreign) would say something else, even sillier, like "Yeah, you just told me it works in the shower, so the device works a little Support volume of water when it's 6ft away - I assumed it would "trigger" due to its "patented self-modulating technology" so they only draw the energy needed for a specific need" . I finally got fed up with his LOW IQ and declining willingness to help and hung up. I tried calling someone else back but it was EXACTLY. It was now 5:00 PM and this company's automated system reported that COMPANY WAS CLOSED. Please call again during business hours. AVOID this so-called "patented, self-modulating technology." It doesn't work in hot climates so I can't imagine what it would be like in the less than tropical north. Worse, if you have a problem you will not get any support from this company as they DO NOT STAND FOR THEIR PRODUCT! I'm going to buy a TITAN instead - I'M SURE YOU HAVE NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS. However, I regret the money spent.
