Bdsing has beautiful vibrant colors and YES THEY ARE SOFT. They're also very good and a good weight if you don't need anything to hold on to body heat - great for warmer weather. Still, I'm giving these sheets 4 stars instead of 5 because at @$$ they're a problem to stay on the bed! Due to the lightness of the material, the sheets and pillowcases are "slippery". The top sheet keeps falling off the bed and the pillows keep falling out of the drawers. Again, they are soft and very sweet. I can live with sheets but drop pillows are driving me crazy! If the covers had a folded end to hold the pillows in, that would be a 5 star rating. Nothing perfect and I would buy this set again and just use other pillowcases.
