These are my second fins. I used to use cheap Mares Manta fins. I'm used to it, I like them, but I wanted a pair of open heel fins because they're easier to put on and take off. I was also looking for more traction. I was looking for the best fins. They have often been cited as the best and definitely the cheapest among the best. So I chose this SEAC Propulsion S. I went to test them yesterday. I didn't like her. It was an easy dive. No electricity. Slow. No need for quick hits. I found the fins too stiff. Traction was poor when pedaling slowly. As I tried to hit harder, I quickly developed a muscle spasm in the upper part of my ankle. I'm not saying these fins are bad. My point is that unless you're used to hard fins, you might have trouble adjusting to them.
