I first soldered an 1157 tail light bulb to wires when I was 5 years old, a 50-year career in consumer electronics and 'Tinkering' has since passed. I purchased the thin version of this product because I have found it easier to use with smaller components. Product works, doesn't clump, doesn't need excessive temperatures to melt, and doesn't leave a mess.It was a satisfying purchase.

- I mean, it's solder. It melts, it sticks, it conducts.
- flows okay (but not amazingly) and smells worse than other lead free solder I've used.
