To program them for the people in the store, customers regularly paid around $100 for reproductions or real GM keychains. This keychain seems to offer the same performance at a fraction of the price. I bought it for my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado and am very satisfied. Programming was a breeze, I just read and followed the instructions. I did it on the first try. This is not a genuine original key fob but unlike some cheap imitations I've seen it actually works. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Update: This is great. I was so pleased with the first keychain I bought that I ordered another one as a replacement. The range is exactly what I expected and I can even lock my truck in the driveway from my living room. Your results may vary, of course, but I am very happy with this product.
