I bought a medium size (9-10) for my 7.5 year old daughter. She is about 3'8 - 3'9 feet tall. I purposely ordered her a size up to give her enough room to grow. If you look at my photos you will see that it is too big as I expected. So I would say the sizes are accurate based on their size chart. The shirt is SIMPLE so I recommend wearing a tank top or tank top underneath. It's soft and feels good. daughter likes it. In general, the purchase is satisfied.
