I bought two of these valves and installed them with no problems. One of them did not stop working as a trickle of water continued to flow after the valve was supposed to be fully closed. It looks like the water was being pumped from the reservoir into the bowl as the water in the reservoir was slowly sinking and the valve would open the water every 3-5 minutes to make up for the water loss. I called a plumber to fix whatever the problem was. The plumber replaced the valve with one of his own and stopped siphoning. The plumber cost $130. Now, five days later, the second Fluidmaster valve is doing the same. There's at least another $130 "to the bathroom". I will never buy a Fluidmaster product again.
