This external drive is AWESOME! So far there have been no problems with the drive. It burns fast and is very quiet. I bought this drive to replace the built in drive in my laptop and the fact that it is quiet is very important to me. My laptop's built-in drive wasn't of very good quality and tended to make either a clicking noise or a buzzing noise when reading the disc. Definitely not great if you're trying to watch a movie. LG's external drive is virtually silent. There were a few instances where the drive I put in didn't have autoplay and I had to put my hand on the drive to feel the vibrations of the spinning drive inside. My friend has had this drive for over a year now and has not heard any complaints.
