Review on MaxMiles Accessories Handlebar Extension Flashlight by David Stover

Ok but same problems as all other bars

I like this bar. Sticks well and firmly. There are no problems with this part. But I have the same problems as everyone else with all the other bars. This is a smooth surface. Most/many accessories are now attached with elastic rubber, which annoys me. I want something to hold and not break after taking it off and on multiple times. But here it is. The smooth surface of the stem makes it difficult to tighten anything with a rubber band. 2. Small diameter. This combined with point 1 above means I have to constantly adjust the light mounted on the pole. My rides are mostly roads and trails, so I don't get bogged down by them. From what I can see most/many accessory nozzles are larger in diameter. I use spacers, but the lack of stem structure means my gear is still moving. If you read reviews of other rods available they all have similar complaints which leads me to believe everyone buys their rods from a small group of manufacturers. Why not at least solve the small diameter problem? I think people are flocking there! I took the hockey tape which I will be using to wrap around the handlebars which hopefully will solve both the small diameter and slick surface issues so I can finally ride without bouncing. light around. Oh, and everyone really needs to stop using carbon fiber's light weight as a selling point, because it's not. I add a bar to the handlebars because I don't have enough room for my gear. I'll just let this phrase go when it comes to worrying about the extra weight from the handlebar extension.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
