Could probably use a few more LEDs but actually the photos I've posted show a 5 gallon aquarium with a clear plexiglass lid that covered with condensation at the bottom. It doesn't prevent TOO much light from being filtered down, but a little, so keep that in mind. I think it's decent lighting (so you don't blind your fish) - definitely better than the LED clip light that originally came with this tank. It is very easy to hang on the tank, the switch is 'blue LEDs / OFF / white-blue LEDs'. I would say it's very well made, very thin and sleek, with a strong lever that doesn't bend at all under weight. The top of the lamp is black, the bottom is gray and the bracket is made of chromed metal. For anything over a 5 gallon tank, choose the next model with a 48? light-emitting diodes.
