I'll be brief now as I'm still checking and comparing it to the Neewer bulbs I've bought but depending on the sales and prices of the day they just perform better. To clarify a bit more about the main difference: Neewer's light, if you choose a color, say a nice turquoise, if you start changing the saturation or intensity, you'll see that the hue jumps a lot as they go down . This is because they don't use very precise internal math to calculate blend levels and you basically get aliasing causing steps and color shifts. Pixel light does that a lot better than Aputure light or something that costs a lot more; The calculation is done with much greater precision and then rounded up to match the driver settings for the LEDs. This means that when you pick a hue and start adjusting the saturation and strength, the color changes smoothly as expected. You don't get those weird jumps, or when you get to dark levels some colors don't just turn off like in Neewer. More will come as I compare them better. But overall, for the money spent, this is a great option. Sure, it doesn't have premium watch faces or other nice touches, so it might not feel as good or have a good screen protector, but none of that hinders its work. So cheap but well designed and executed.
