Review on 8oz Jar of Timbermate Maple, Beech, and Pine Hardwood Wood Filler by Joe Gilmartin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Timbermate is without question the best. The price is about the same as others (I have .

Nothing to say here. I have tried many different fillers. Timbermate is the best without question. The price is about the same as others (I don't compare it to cheap fillers that you buy and throw away almost immediately) Pros: 1. Even if it dries up in a jar, you can always easily revive it 2. I don't know why, but by some miracle Fits in much better with Color of the tree than other fillers I've used Especially red oak, walnut and maple - almost no difference 3. Easier to apply than other varieties I've used Parts and bare wood are very minimal 5. When you fill the wood don't want to stain, you can use a "neutral" color, mix it with a water-based dye and get the perfectly matched color you want - for example Padauk or yellow heart Cons: none yet.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Does not all fit
