I installed the Chameleon set and have been using it for a month now and it's holding up well. My Switch and Joy Cons look cool. A huge improvement over the stock backplate and pink and green cons. Everything looks very high quality. The color change of the system and joy cons is really impressive. Buttons, triggers, etc. Joy-Con work just as well prior to installation, but took some tweaking before they reached a satisfactory state. That being said, this really isn't a random project. Do yourself a favour: when adding this to your cart please take an extra minute to add the correct driver set (Y00 and PH00) and also make sure you have a good pair of tweezers and/or a spatula to have. Don't do what I did and don't think the included tools have to be "good enough". I made the mistake of using them and removing 2 screws from the Joy Con rails adding hours and stress to the project. I had to break the back plate which was very scary. To this day I can't get these screws out and there are small remnants of the stock backplate inside the system. I had to cut some of the plastic off the new back plate to keep it level when I put the other screws back in. Even with the right screwdrivers, you might still be able to rip off the stock screws (ripped off a joystick screw with a good Y00 screwdriver, although I was careful). Take your time, patience and watch the tutorial video repeatedly, because everything can and, most likely, will go very badly. I'm glad I bought this, the end result is great but some reviews say it's an easy project for the inexperienced. NO, THAT IS NOT SO. It took a lot of blood, sweat, tears and curses to make my Switch look as good as it does now.
