The handles are too short. Will not close fully on my standard toilet
I have an old standard toilet. The valve is 2 inches, so the part is fine. But the damper handles are too short, so the damper can't fully close on the valve and the water just spills out again. The leak is also not small - the water drains very quickly. I even tried to cut a ring out of it, but the problem lies in the short shoulders. Oh well, glad it was only a dollar!
