If only the zero star was an option
I bought this to replace a much older one in the front of my house. Nothing happened when unpacking. It feels very light and thin compared to the old one, and the spring is pretty flimsy too. After it was installed our postman tried to push mail through and opened the door all the way but it just stayed open. We tried to take it off but it just cracked the door and chipped a lot of paint. 24 hours after installation it was already broken. I will definitely try to clean my old one. These new products are simply cheap. I would not recommend it. Try to find the old one and just fix it.
