I bought my first 24mm lens for my T3I about 5 years ago and it has never come loose! I've used it for everything. It doesn't have stabilization, but it's so small that it's really easy to control camera shake. I can get very close to my subject and even at 2.8 wide open the image is clear and sharp. I ended up having to order a second one because I've used it so much and given up over the years. I still love it, but with Canon's updated focusing system, I don't think it gives the same bokeh and nice vintage look as the T3I. However, I would still highly recommend this lens for any type of photography other than portrait photography. It is too wide for that and distorts the face. I would definitely recommend this lens more for outdoor photography, but it can also be used indoors with the right lighting. The best lens for its price. I actually use a Nikon too, but I don't want to give it my all because I love this lens so much and Nikon doesn't have anything like it. Sounds crazy I know but this is perfect for my needs! I added some photos. There are hundreds of them but these are my newest. The tulips were shot with a 77D and a 24mm pancake lens. Ranunculus was T3I and 24mm. Simple but that. You won't regret it.
