I bought this tool specifically for one job, to enlarge the spacing between the 2x6 boards on a existing deck. Most 4.5 saws were much less expensive. But this one, the specs, seemed to fit the bill better. I rely on customer reviews and this one had very few. In fact, there is little or no information on this saw or the manufacturer on line. But as I could not any negative comments, I went ahead with the purchase. Since then, I see that Walmart shows this saw is now longer available so this review maybe mute; which concerns me as to the availability of replacement batteries. I don’t know if this is temporary, but I do not expect a manufacturer to tool up and not make a battery available somewhere.Now to the saw. It seems to be very well built. Every thing fits. There were no strange smells on start up and all the controls work smoothly. This is the first tool I have bought with a laser. It is right on. I am running two blades, the supplied one and a Rockwell. This was to increase the width of the kerf. There is more than enough power to push both blades as long as you do not force the saw. My only complaint is the safety switch button is hard for me to push with one hand. Wish it was softer.I would defiantly recommend this saw, if available, in spite of it appearing more expensive compared to similar "looking” saws on the market.
