I have 4 dogs and EVERYTHING turns on when I start one. And two of them in particular don't know when to stop. I've tried everything. Any device. Education. At best, I get preliminary results. This device has worked very well with my team. It really made her stop. There are only two negative points with this device. The first thing you should be aware of when using it is that it also affects ALL dogs around it. My team is fine because they're all barking. But you can't use it when other dogs are around. Especially if it's a non-barking dog. Noise affects every dog differently. Second, I want it to be stationary, not manual. In my situation, my dogs start barking even before I walk through the door. In fact, they can hear me getting out of the car, so they bark for a few minutes before I get there. I live in the city so it's crowded and you can hear everything. I could use it from my car because it's within reach. Actually, I know I won't always think about taking it with me. Or place in the same place every time. I like the idea of having a stationary barking device because I've had one that wasn't as effective as this one. I don't think they have any option other than manual. If so, then I need to find it. But aside from the things that don't really relate to its effectiveness, I would say that it's very effective and worth trying.
