Not a ASMedia 1142 but a 1242

I was looking for a ASMedia 1142 PCIE card. Although it's printed on the chip ASMdeia 1142 it comes up in Windows ASMedia 1242. For most ppl this isn't a problem, I happen to WFH as a USB compatibility tester and needed that PID. That isn't only compliant. The 1242 should function great for your USB A or C needs.

Pros
  • ‎Inateck
Cons
  • May experience connectivity issues with some devices
