Terrible quality, like 99% of these devices from other manufacturers.

I knew I was in trouble when I installed this device and tested its battery for the first time: the test button is actually just a plastic bubble with a small foil underneath. You press down firmly and then the light flickers dimly to show the battery status. I started the engine, let it idle and checked the unit's display panel to see if the battery was charging. Yes, it was. After driving the trailer around, I got the green light. Thing is, like most cheap devices like this, it died a quick death after a few weeks in the Texas sun. I will replace it soon. NOT RECOMMENDED!
