Review on ๐Ÿ‘ผ Halo Early Walker Sleepsack Lightweight Knit Wearable Blanket, Blue, Large - TOG 0.5 by Alicia Evans

Works great but not quite as advertised

SleepSacks are great but not really for "early hikers". I had to buy this because our son was getting too big for other Halo sleeping bag sizes at 10 months. He started walking at about 11 months, 28 inches. The sleeping bag was too long for him to walk in, he kept tripping over it, and his legs were completely invisible. He's now 14 months and 32 inches and can walk in it but I'm uncomfortable with it because it's still long enough for the occasional ride. I know several babies who started walking at 8 and 9 months and that is what I would call 'early walking' and this product is definitely not for them. We keep the house at 68 years old. It really warms him up in the cold. Weather if we pair it with a long sleeve shirt and socks but not too warm which I think fleeces do. It will certainly suit him for a while, which is a good thing, because he is too wild and restless for blankets. I see some other reviews talking about protruding feet - our son has tiny feet despite being tall for his age and we didn't have this problem. We're leaving his socks on while he's wearing this, so maybe that's important.
