Pretty solid and not difficult to build.
This lock wasn't difficult to build. It took my wife and I about 2 hours to assemble. Most of the time I was dealing with terrible instructions but the truth is there are no written instructions apart from some illustrations. It's quite big. It's about 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide. There were no broken parts or missing screws. It's really cute when you put the dolls on it and they start playing music soon. Although only two of the four doll holders rotate. It's not broken, it's just the way it was designed. All in all it's not a bad lock and most Kidkraft products are pretty solid and I've had good luck with them. I strongly recommend that you have storage space or you might reconsider this lock.
