I've installed a lot of replacement and new door knobs over the past 50 years, and have seen the very worst quality cheapos, to really great, well made knobs and levers, that most people would love to have in their homes. These are not the worst, nor what I would consider a great quality privacy lever, but somewhere in the middle of that spectrum. First, these sell for $60.89 (as of this review, box of 3 privacy locks, matte black), so they average about $20 bucks a piece if you could buy them separately. For $20 bucks, you're not going to be able to buy a good quality, well made Schlage or Baldwin, but these don't look to bad. They install in a standard door knob opening, and easy enough to install. As soon as you pick them up, you'll feel (if you've done hundreds of these) the light weight of these, and a sign to me that the material used to make these is not the best quality. A well made, good quality door knob or lever always (almost) have a good solid feel to them, and you'd be able to feel that they are almost always heavier. These are very standard privacy levers in how they work and install, don't look to bad, but when installed, are not the smoothest working door lever. But, selling for $60 bucks for 3 sets, I would not expect much more than what's in the box. These will do the job, and most likely will last several years if not abused. Not a bad deal for the money, especially if you're not looking to spend $60 for one door lever.
