My alternator started going crazy in my 2005 Mountaineer 4.0L AWD. I was looking for locals in the Seattle area and they wanted $250 for the restoration! When I found this NEW generator for such a low price with no core recharge I ordered it immediately! It arrived quickly! My only complaint is that they didn't put the alternator in a different box, lest the new alternator bounce around in vans and the pulley bust the box. The alternator had no other damage so if you buy one, take it out of the box and inspect for damage before installing. Installation was easy, I removed the old alternator and fitted the new one and that was it. and works in 20 minutes!
