I was looking for a jewelry box that didn't look "teenage" or cost as much as a full jewelry cabinet that takes up floor space. That's great. I find it well thought out, very practical and affordable. Even if I have to replace it every few years (although I don't expect to) - it's worth it in my opinion. It takes a lot of them to put together a $200 jewelry closet. You could travel with him, but that doesn't seem ideal. I have something separate for the trip. I think I might buy a few more of these as New Year's gifts. He seems to have a cool look. (Note: if you need to "hang" necklaces, you obviously can't. I've found tie hangers work well for this. I keep them in my closet.)
