Review on Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Airflow Mid-Tower Smart Case with Tempered Glass, White by Mike Morris

ASUS Prime Z490-A with Intel Core i9 10900K, 64GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, Corsair H100i AIO, Corsair 220T Mid Tower. The RAM was too big for the AIO fan/heatsink to fit on. Had to move the AIO fans/heatsinks forward and move the 3 front fans up and back. The glass side has four thumbscrews for removal, unfortunately there is no twist or quick release. The Lighting Node RGB controller with iCUE software is good, offers lots of RGB flexibility (Some people don't like lighting, but I like them!) and a dashboard showing fan status and speed, RAM temperature and speed, several MB -Options displays AIO pump and fan speed and temperature, as well as the temperature and utilization of the processor core. The GPU of choice isn't available in this universe for the foreseeable future, so there's no GPU, but the Core i9 10900k CPU graphics runs well for now at 35-inch 3440 x 1440 at 100MHz. Cable routing was easy behind the scenes, leaving a clean area for a possible GPU. Despite rearranging the fans, ASUS FanXpert 4 keeps the system quiet at 100% CPU load at 65°C. However, fan swaps only leave 11 inches for GPU length. I wouldn't need to do this if I had bought lower profile RAM or a full tower case. There will be no RTX 3090 here, and maybe just a shorter 3080. The magic was in ASUS FanXpert 4! With 100% utilization of all 10 cores at 68 °C, the standard fan/cooler was quite noisy. The FanXpert 4 now has a quiet whisper, averaging 65°C at 100% usage and 28°C at normal usage.
