I have just completed a 500 square meter apartment. feet, and those fasteners did the job perfectly. I used the Trex Transcend collection and everything looks great. I was nervous about using these screws because of the bad reviews, but it all boils down to user error. With them, I realized that you should use a drill, not a percussion tool. The screws will come loose, but they work great if you just use a regular drill bit and drill through slowly. You need to drill a clip halfway through one board, then insert the other board and screw the clip in firmly but not all the way. If you screw it all the way in, the screw can't stay on the beam because of the plastic clip. As long as you stick to these rules, your deck will be beautiful. I highly recommend these clips, but use these rules and there will be no problems!
